Nicola is an award-winning British based photographer specialising in Theatre and Travel  photography.  Nicola has been taking photographs for over 30 years and has been published in national newspapers including The Guardian and The Independent alongside numerous other publications. She has been shortlisted in the prestigious Travel Photographer of the Year Awards in 2019, 2018, 2016, 2015, 2014 & 2013 as well as gaining a winning place as in 2019. She was also a winer in 2014's Urban Photographer of the Year.

Dividing her time between the world stage and theatre stage Nicola is always keen to embrace any opportunity to apply her own particular style to any photographic project. Her photographs are about life, movement, energy and journeys that transport the viewer to another world whether that's the fantasy of the stage or reality of the world that surrounds us.

 

Nicola has spent almost 3 years living and working in Sierra Leone, West Africa and has travelled extensively, most recently to Cuba, Thailand, Burma and Morocco. Her studies have included a masterclass with Nick Danziger and Rory Maclean as well as achiving distinctions in level 3 City and Guilds Photography and has had several exhibitions.
